Sir Stephen Timms MP, the Minister of State for Social Security and Disability visited the Carers Support Centre Bristol and South Gloucestershire. This was arranged by Ramzi at Carers Trust and Susy from the Carers Support Centre. Carina was invited to attend and with Amanda and Phoebe, we shared our caring stories to the Minister. We felt he was a good listener and asked excellent follow-up questions. We know that any campaigning takes patience and time but I think that we and the Carers Support Centre Team made some excellent points and gave him food for thought.
